If you're having issues with weights not staying in the base or not picking up correctly, we recommend:

  1. When inserting the dumbbells, push down firmly on the handles until they're fully seated in the base. Ensure both sides are pressed down evenly.
  2. Before lifting the dumbbells from the base, press down on the handles to ensure proper weight engagement.

If the dumbbells still aren't attaching properly, inspect the equipment for any interfering objects.

Inspection

  1. Make sure the unit is clean from debris and obstructions.

  2. Make sure the handle is seated fully and the dumbbell weights are in the correct arrangement.

    1. Press down firmly on the handle before lifting to guarantee weights attach consistently.
  3. Check to make sure the base and dumbbell have power.

    1. Make sure the base charger is plugged into the base and a working power outlet. Give the unit at least 10 minutes to charge.
    2. Push down on the dial on the base to turn on the unit.
    3. If nothing appears on the display and no lights are seen active on the base, proceed to No Power/Charging.
  4. Remove the dumbbells and make sure there are no obstructions in the base that would prevent the push rods from moving up and down. Cycle through all of the weight selections to make sure all the push rods are activating. The push rods are indicated with arrows in the image below.
